WHAT: EMS Event with deceased civilian.
WHEN: Today, November 8, 2022 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: 1001 Canino Rd, 77037 (Melrose Park Community Center)
INJURIES: One deceased civilian.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene of an EMS event and upon investigation discovered and declared a deceased adult male civilian at 12:28 p.m. The cause of death is suspected to be electrocution. The medical examiner and HPD are investigating.
HPD is investigating the incident. The deceased individual was a Houston Parks and Recreation employee performing work-related duties.
