WHAT: Firefighters will reunite with a local area high school student who they saved from a swimming emergency when she was a child.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Kennedy Gilmore will be celebrating her high school graduation and reunite with members of the Houston Fire Department who saved her life after a swimming emergency, as a young child. Following the incident, Kennedy and her mother remained in close contact with the HFD crews.
Kennedy's graduation from high school will take place on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Houston’s First Baptist Church, located at 7401 Katy Freeway, Houston, 77024.
