WHAT: Commercial Building Fire.
WHEN: March 3, 2023 at 6:36 a.m.
WHERE: 6160 Richmond Ave. 77057.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $2,025,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story commercial building. Once inside, crews conducted a primary search encountering a heavy amount of smoke. The fire was located and extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 28, 2, 68, 3, 10, 16, 51, 69, 57 and Heavy Rescue 11 responded to this incident.
