WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: January 9, 2023 at 1:25 p.m.
WHERE: 10110 Club Creek Dr. 77036.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $250,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $550,000 in estimated property saved.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental due to a grease fire while cooking.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a 2-story apartment on fire. All the occupants were out and there were no missing pets. Crews made an offensive attack and quickly controlled the fire and stopped further spread. Four of the eight units in the building were heavily damaged and the American Red Cross was notified to assist the families. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters from Station 73, 2, 15, 68, 83, 10, 51, 69, 76, 57, 82 and Rescue 10 responded to this incident.
