WHEN: March 20, 2024, at 6:17 a.m.
WHERE: 11810 Chimney Rock Rd. 77035.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters smelled smoke from the station and upon investigation found a nearby vacant apartment on fire. They made an offensive attack with a significant amount of fire in the attic. The roof was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 46 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 48, 2, 21, 59, 37, 68, 82 and 24.
