INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: More than $20,000,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $51,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find light smoke coming from a vacant apartment and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause due multiple points of origin and statements made by apartment management. Crews from Stations 4, 5, 49, 50, 66, 77, 78, 57 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
