CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a 2-story apartment unit. They made an offensive attack, encountering light smoke throughout the unit. The crews opened the windows and doors and conducted a primary search while pulling ceiling and wall to expose the fire. The fire was extinguished and involved a porch closet with extension into the living area. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 31 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 4, 5, 77, 66, 50 and 57.
