WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: February 20, 2023 at 5:47 p.m.
WHERE: 116 E. Edgebrook Dr. 77034.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $930,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $70,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find two apartment units on fire and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. CenterPoint and the American Red Cross were requested to assist the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 36, 23, 26, 70, 29, 52, 61 and 24 responded to this incident.
