INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $80,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the building. A search was completed with no one found. Crews removed sheetrock to fully locate and extinguish the fire. Firefighters from Stations 68, 51, 82, 28 and 48 responded to this incident.
