ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack on a fire in the kitchen of a unit and extinguished it with no extension to the void space. A primary search was completed, and the unit was ventilated. Crews from Stations 73, 28, 68, 83, 10, 51, 60, 76 and 57 responded to this incident.
