WHEN: February 15, 2023 at 11:18 p.m.
WHERE: 10630 Beechnut St. 77072.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and extinguished the fire in an abandoned unit. There was no extension to the other units. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 68, 10, 73, 76 and 57 responded to this incident.
