WHAT: Apartment Boiler Room Fire.
WHEN: November 6, 2022 at 10:17 p.m.
WHERE: 5913 Glenmont Dr. 77081.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: No extension to apartment units.
DAMAGE: $10,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find a fire in the attic space of an apartment boiler room building. There was no extension to the apartment units. Crews made an offensive attack and ventilated the building. The gas was turned off and a primary search was completed. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 28, 68, 2, 51, 60 and 3 responded to this incident.
