Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found at 2602 Winbern Street about 7:10 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 18).
The identity, gender and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Herrera and L. Brooks reported:
Officers responded to a report of skeletal remains located at the above address. Upon arrival officers canvassed the area and found what they believed to be skeletal remains.
The investigation is pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
