Houston police are seeking a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 7301 Jensen Drive about 4:55 a.m. February 11, 2026.
Jason Moses Guzman Jr., 25, who is not charged in this case, is wanted for questioning.
The victim is identified as Michael Bradley Simmons, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
According to witnesses, two Hispanic males approached the apartment and discharged their firearms striking the victim before fleeing the location.
The suspects are described as Hispanic males, approximately 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 8 inches tall, armed with handguns and a rifle. One suspect is described as a larger male wearing a black hoodie. The suspects fled the location in a small blue vehicle of unknown make or model, traveling southbound on Jensen Drive.
Further investigation has identified Guzman Jr. as a person of interest in this case and detectives would like to speak to him.
