Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile female and a juvenile male and the apparent suicide of a woman found at 7807 Kirby Drive about 11:45 a.m. on July 3.
The identities of the juvenile female, 4, juvenile male, 4, and the female suspect, 40, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Elliott and D. Hobson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a hotel at the above address. Officers located an unresponsive female, a juvenile female and juvenile male inside a room. They had suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
Evidence on scene indicated the incident was a murder-suicide in which the female shot the juveniles and then shot herself.
