Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5803 Fondren Road about 8 p.m. on Sunday (April 26).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Barcak and C. Davidson reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a male lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers learned a vehicle was seen leaving the scene and arrived at an area hospital where one of the occupants was treated for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
