WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: May 14, 2025, at 8:15 p.m.
WHERE: 4742 Yale St. 77018.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story apartment building. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The utilities were controlled and the fire was tapped out within about ten minutes. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 45 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 31, 15, 30, 34, 67 and 43.
