| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11101 East F.M. 1960 Road about 6:45 a.m. today (March 18).
The identity of the deceased male, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer J. Tran reported:
The juvenile male attempted to cross several lanes of traffic from the turn lane – not in a crosswalk – at the above address and was struck by a black BMW 530I traveling eastbound on East F.M. 1960.
The male was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood where he was pronounced deceased.
The female driver of the BMW, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
