Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9800 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 8 p.m. on Monday (March 18).
The identity of the deceased male, 46, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer D. Thompson reported:
The deceased male was cross the freeway westbound at the above address. He was struck by a White Nissan Sentra traveling northbound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The female driver, 34, of the Nissan, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released. The investigation is continuing.
