Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 6300 Westpark Drive about 2:35 a.m. on Sunday (March 17).
The identity of the deceased woman, 35, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer T. Syed reported:
The driver (deceased) of a white Honda Accord was traveling eastbound at the above address and failed to yield the right of way as she attempted to make a left turn into a private drive and stuck a red Infiniti Q60 traveling westbound. A white BMW M2, also traveling westbound, was unable to avoid the crash and struck the Infiniti. The Infiniti then struck a light pole.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the drivers of the Honda and Infiniti to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Doctors later pronounced the driver of the Honda deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
