Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 14400 Main Street (U.S. Highway 90) about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday (March 10).
The identities of the two deceased males, 22 and 23, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer L. Fenoglio reported:
Witnesses stated a white BMW M4 was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed and making multiple lane changes at the above address when the driver lost control and left the roadway. The BMW struck a TXDOT exit sign, which caused the car to split in half.
Paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. The male passenger was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
