Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6100 Westheimer Road about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday (March 10).
The identity of the deceased male, 60, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer C. Moralez reported:
The male, a pedestrian, was crossing the street at the above address when he was struck by a white Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound. Houston Fire Department Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The male driver, 27, was questioned and released. No charges have been filed as the investigation is continuing.
