Houston police have arrested a female charged in the fatal shooting that occurred at 4630 Magnolia Cove Drive about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday (June 13).
Kimmerly Nguyen, 29, is charged with murder in the 177th State District Court. A booking photo of Nguyen is attached to this news release.
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Montgomery County Forensic Services.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives KJ. Collier and J. Flores reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting inside an apartment at the above address. Houston Fired Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Nguyen, who had fled the area, returned to the apartment and was arrested. She was charged for her role in the fatal shooting.
