Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another at 11285 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 29).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and A. Graf reported: Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the business at the above address and found the two victims with gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported both males to a hospital where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. Detectives learned three male suspects entered the business and sat down at a table. The two male victims then entered. One of the victims approached and confronted one of the suspects. During the altercation, one of the other suspects pulled a gun and shot both male victims. The shooter is described only as a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing red jogger pants with white stripes and a navy blue hoodie. The two other suspects were a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and an Asian male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
