| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 516 Berry Road about 10:45 p.m. on Thursday (August 18).
The identity of the victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot of a food store at the above address and found the victim on the ground near the gas pumps. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Officers recovered several fired casings in the parking lot.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
