Houston police have released the surveillance photo of a suspect sought in the shooting of a man at 3130 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) about 6:45 p.m. on Monday (May 2).
The photo of the unidentified suspect is attached to this news release.
The male victim, 27, is in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives R. Mendoza and M. Deleon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious person with a gun call at the above address and found multiple bullet casings in a parking lot, but no victim at the scene.
Further investigation and witness statements determined the victim had driven himself to an area hospital. Investigators verified the victim was related to the shooting incident at the above address.
At this time, there is no known motive.
