ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a fire in the kitchen of an apartment. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. A smoke detector alerted the resident of the fire on the stove. The fire was extinguished within five minutes and no extension was found. Crews from Stations 8, 46, 7, 18, 25, 40, 27 and 24 responded to this incident.
