CAUSE: Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from the second floor of an apartment building. They made an offensive attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. Two dogs were removed from the apartment. The building was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished within 15 minutes. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced family. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 28, 68, 48, 82 and 51 responded to this incident.
