Houston police have released a forensic sketch based on skeletal remains of an unidentified male found at 9600 North Green River Drive about 2:05 p.m. on April 7.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
Officers were dispatched to a park at the above address and found what appeared to be skeletal remains in a field. Officers notified homicide investigators and personnel with the Anthropology Division of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Detectives and an anthropologist made the scene and confirmed a bone found at the location was a human femur.
During the course of the investigation additional skeletal remains were discovered, which included a human skull. Based on the skull, a sketch was completed by HPD forensic artist Lois Gibson and it is believed the victim was a 25 to 35 year old male, with a small to medium build, medium skin tone and dark hair. A copy of the forensic sketch is attached to this news release.
