HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at an apartment at the above address. Upon arrival, they learned Mr. Rivera-Villanueva had been stabbed in the abdomen by a known male.
Further investigation determined the suspect, known as “Wally,” was drinking with Rivera-Villanueva and hanging out with friends. “Wally” began talking to Rivera-Villanueva’s wife and Rivera-Villanueva became jealous. Rivera-Villanueva began arguing with “Wally” and punched him twice in the face, at which time “Wally” reached into his pocket, retrieved a pocket knife, and stabbed Rivera-Villanueva. “Wally” then drove Rivera-Villanueva and his wife to the hospital.
