Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found deceased at 8800 Parkhurst Drive about 9:30 a.m. today (Sept. 20).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:
Officers responded to a call at the above address and found the female victim lying in a ditch near the bayou. She was deceased and appeared to have injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
