| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1302 Eastex Freeway (North Interstate Highway 59) that occurred about 6:25 p.m. on Saturday (February 27).
The victim, 28, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
The victim and an unknown suspect got into a physical altercation it he parking lot of a convenience store at the above address. The suspect then pulled out a pistol and shot the victim multiple times and then fled on foot.
The suspect is described only as a black male between 20 to 25 years old.
