Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12338 Kitty Brook Drive about 1 a. m, today (Feb. 25).
The victim, Demetrous Butler, 28, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee Jr. and A. Graf II reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and learned Mr. Butler had argued with an unknown male suspect about Butler’s girlfriend being at the residence. When Butler arrived to pick up his girlfriend, gunfire broke out and Butler suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect fled the scene. Paramedics transported Butler to a hospital.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, who possibly goes by the name “JD” or “JB.”
