Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3800 Heatherbloom Drive about 8:30 p.m. on December 31.
The victim, 17, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
The victim stated he was taking out the trash in front of his residence when a gray, four-door car passed by and an unknown suspect inside the vehicle shot at him multiple times. The victim was struck at least twice. The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
