Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9711 South Hanworth Drive about 5:20 p.m. on Friday (December 4).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers E. Rossow and A. Henderson reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above residence and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported the victim was arguing with a male suspect shortly before the shooting occurred. The suspect is described only as a black male, approximately six feet tall, wearing a blue-jean jacket, blue pants and a yellow or beige hat. He was last seen walking westbound on South Hanworth.
