Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7000 Kittridge Street about 6:30 p.m. last Friday (January 17).
The victim, 18, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Kimbrough and M. Combs reported:
The victim was driving southbound at an undetermined location on U.S. State Highway 59 when he accidentally cut off another driver in a silver, four-door vehicle. The driver in the silver vehicle pulled out a pistol and fired toward the victim’s car, striking the victim in the chest. The suspect vehicle fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital. His male passenger, 20, was not injured.
The suspects are described only as two young Hispanic males.
