Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1700 Barker Cypress about 5:20 a.m. today (August 12).
The male victim, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Maness and Officer J. Tran reported:
The victim was riding a bicycle southbound when he was struck by a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The male driver remained at the scene and was found not to be impaired.
Currently, there are no charges, as the investigation is continuing.
