Houston police have arrested a suspect charged and wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 6602 Madrid Street about 7:25 p.m. on November 21.
The suspect, Quinton Jermaine Wilson (b/m, 21), is charged with murder in the 184th State District Court. A booking photo of Wilson is attached to this news release.
He is accused in the killing of Giovanie Thompson, 25.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Stephens and C. Vaughn reported:
Mr. Thompson was in a parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address when the suspect approached him, shot him several times and then fled the scene on foot. Paramedics pronounced Thompson deceased at the scene.
Further investigation led to the identity of the suspect as Wilson and, on Wednesday (February 9), he was arrested without incident.
