UPDATE: Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Stabbing at 921 Skyline Vista

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man that occurred at 921 Skyline Vista about 9:40 p.m. on January 27.

The suspect, William Angle, 44, is charged with murder in the 208th State District Court.  He is accused in the death of George Wendell Jackson, Jr., 31.

A photo of Angle, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

Mr. Jackson was visiting a friend at an apartment at the above address when he was stabbed by a known suspect.  Jackson was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.  Homicide investigators developed information on a possible suspect.

Further investigation and witness statements identified Angle as the suspect in this case.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and, on Monday (February 7), Angle was charged for his role in the incident.  Angle remains at large.
