2ND UPDATE: One Suspect Arrested, Another Sought in November Fatal Shooting at 1514 White Oak Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 1514 White Oak Drive that occurred about 7:05 p.m. on November 4.

The suspect, Antonio Love, 24 is charged with murder in the 262nd State District Court. A Rapides Parish, Louisiana, booking photo of Love is attached to this news release.

The wanted unidentified suspect is described as a white male. Surveillance photos of the suspect and suspect vehicle are also attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Jason Bush, 41.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Ledford, M. Burton, S. Chettry, and H. Martinez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a gas station at the above address and found Mr. Bush unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a black sedan.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Bush deceased from a gunshot wound.

A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene indicated Bush met with two unknown suspects in a pickup truck, described as a blue, Ford F-150, in the parking lot.  A male suspect approached Bush’s vehicle and shots were fired.  The suspect, described only as a white male, got back into pickup truck and fled the scene.

Further investigation identified Love as one of the suspects in this incident. On Wednesday (Jan. 3), members of the U.S. Marshals arrested him in Alexandria, Louisiana and he was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He is awaiting extradition to Harris County.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or whereabouts of the wanted white male suspect or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
