WHAT: 2-alarm warehouse fire.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a large 1-story warehouse and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed and additional HFD units were requested. Once inside, crews found low-visibility and high heat conditions. Fire began to vent from the structure, endangering powerlines, and residential units. Firefighters protected the residential units while ventilating the roof of the warehouse. A second-alarm was requested and rehab was established for firefighters to rotate as they battled the fire. A firewall prevented the fire from spreading into the residential units and crews fully extinguished the fire, ensuring all hotspots were fully out. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 90 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 28, 16, 2, 15, 6, 8, 21, 3, 7, 33, 37, 38, 51, 11, 24, 30, Rescue 11 and Rehab 17.
