WHAT: 2-alarm warehouse fire.
WHEN: January 1, 2023 at 2:21 a.m.
WHERE: 8777 Tallyho Rd. 77061.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $90,000 in estimated damage.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation by HFD Arson investigators.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fires in several buildings in a row of warehouses and made an offensive attack on each of the fires. Heavy machinery was requested to assist with the debris pile, allowing crews to completely extinguish hotspots. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the causes. Firefighters from Stations 36, 23, 20, 26, 17, 40, 42, 61, 93, 18, 15, 37, 24, 33, Decon, Command Van 8, Rescue 42 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
