WHAT: House Fire

WHEN: March 30, 2018 at 8:52 p.m.

WHERE: 10300 block of Moorberry Ln, 77043

INJURIES: One civilian found deceased inside the home.

DAMAGE: $100 thousand in estimated damage.

CAUSE: The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by HFD Arson Investigators.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters from Fire Station 77 arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke and fire coming from an one-story home. There were reports of a trapped resident and one civilian was found deceased inside the home at 9:08 p.m. by firefighters. The fire was declared under control at 9:21 p.m.
