WHAT: Woodland Fire

WHERE: Near the 24500 block of E. Lake Houston Parkway, 77336
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: Not available.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to a report of fires in a wood area and worked to find an access point with the fires being 50-75 yards off the roadway. Multiple fires were found, and additional boosters were requested. Huffman and Crosby fire departments also responded. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators with HPD were on scene with one person of interest detained. Crews from Stations 32, 65, 101, 102, 103 and 105 responded to this incident.
