WHAT: Warehouse fire.
WHEN: March 6, 2025, at 1:42 p.m.
WHERE: 5700 block of Laurel Creek Way, 77017.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: More than $628,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the side of a large 1-story warehouse and made an offensive attack. Several vehicles, a motorcycle and motorhome, and large pile of branches were on fire. The fire was spreading to the warehouse with fire on an interior wall. During operations, a gas tank on the mobile home ruptured spilling gasoline and Hazardous Materials foam operations were requested. The spill was cleaned up and the fire was extinguished. 40 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 70, 29, 52, 20, 61, 17, 24, Hazmat and Rescue 42.
