WHAT: Vacant structure fire.
WHEN: September 13, 2024, at 2:05 p.m.
WHERE: 1600 S. SH 6, 77077.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $12,000 in estimated property / content damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a vacant structure on fire. HFD had responded to a fire at the same location several days prior. Crews used bold cutters to unlock the gage and crews extinguished the fire. A primary search was completed with no one found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 78, 83, 75, 90 and 57.
