WHAT: Vacant mobile home fire / trash fire.
WHEN: March 12, 2025, at 5:29 p.m.
WHERE: 500 block of Northville St. 77037.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (incendiary).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a large trash fire had spread to a vacant mobile home. They made an offensive attack and accessed a nearby structure to ensure there was no extension. A hotspot was found on the roof and the insulation was removed and extinguished. The mobile home was fully involved in the fire and a primary search was not possible CenterPoint was notified for downed power lines. The fire was controlled within about 15 minutes and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire due to past fires at the same location. 51 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 31, 64, 58, 67, 74, 84, 30 and the Little York Fire Department.
