WHAT: Vacant house fire.
WHEN: May 13, 2025, at 10:48 a.m.
WHERE: 8900 block of Ver Lee Ct. 77037.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a vacant house, spreading to a nearby home. They made a defensive attack and conducted a primary search. The utilities were controlled and an excavator from The Public Works and Engineering Department was requested to respond to the scene due to the dangerous structural conditions of the house. Crews controlled the fire and HFD Arson Investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 48 personnel responded to this incident including firefighters from Stations 13, 15, 4, 31, 58, 67, 84, 56, 30, heavy rescue 11 we have 42.
