A suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 11203 Whittingham Lane about 4 p.m. on Sunday (April 27) is in custody.
The suspect, Andres Fernandez De La Paz, 36, is charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court. A booking photo of Fernandez De La Paz is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Ediesky Incencio Pineiro, 34.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and M. Althaus reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Further investigation identified Fernandez De La Paz as a suspect in this case. After consulting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Fernandez De La Paz was charged for his role in this shooting.
Members of the HPD Westside Patrol Division’s Gang Unit arrested Fernandez De La Paz at his residence in Katy on Monday (April 28).
