Houston police have learned the identity of a man whose skeletal remains were found at 8707 West Tidwell Road about 7:25 a.m. on April 22.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has identified the victim as Randall David Craig, 59.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an anonymous call regarding skeletal remains found behind a motel at the above address. Officers checked the area near the motel and found what appeared to be human skeletal remains inside an abandoned building. At this time, it is unknown how the remains came to be in the building.
After obtaining radiographs from the Harris Health System, the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the remains as those of Mr. Craig. His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
